CMMBA Peewee A Reds Do It Again!

Congratulations to the CMMBA Peewee A Reds on their Gold Medal finish at the West Kelowna tournament last weekend (June 2-4).

The bats were on fire all weekend and the team scored 71 runs in the 3 round robin games alone.

The players, parents and siblings celebrated their round robin success with a little go-carting and time in the pool / water slide.

The semi-final game started tight but the Reds continued to hit well and earned their spot in the final.

The final was between the 2 undefeated teams: CMMBA Reds and Osoyoos Venom.

This was another great game and a Reds victory with solid pitching and great hitting.

While some of the other teams ran into challenges with pitch counts, this was never a concern for the Reds.

By the end of the tournament they had rotated through 6 of their pitchers and still had 2 more of their regular pitchers available.

ALL of the players contributed throughout the weekend tournament and it was truly a team effort.
