Umpires

Spring is just around the corner and so is the game of baseball. Enjoy the game?? Become an umpire and get paid for officiating the sport we love. We are always looking for the next generation of officials who show desire and enthusiasm while at the same time being rewarded for his or her
efforts.

Those wishing to umpire are encouraged to contact our umpire in chief Trevor Sharpe umpireinchief@tcthunder.ca. All umpires new and returning must be registered with the BC Baseball Umpires Association (bcbua.ca). Umpires are required to attend a BCBUA clinic every year to help improve your skills and adjust to any rule changes.

Registration fees will be reimbursed for all Umpires who are registered players for Tri-City Thunder. If you’re not a registered player you must umpire a minimum of 5 games to be reimbursed.
