13U AA TriCity Thunder take Silver!!!
The 13U AA TriCity Thunder team had a slow start to the season and worked hard to prove themselves as one of the top teams for the Peewee AA Division. By the end of the season the team had strong showings in 2 tournaments and placed 2nd in the regular season for the Greater Vancouver Interlock, arguably the toughest of the 3 interlock groups.
A highlight was a double-header on both the Saturday and Sunday of Mother's Day weekend where the team presented flowers to their Moms following the games.
After a short round-robin playoff format the team earned a spot in the Championship Game against the Burnaby Braves on June 12th. They battled hard but came up short against the top-ranked Braves to win 2nd place in the Greater Vancouver Interlock.
Congratulations to the team and best of luck to them as they move on to AAA for Summer Ball.
