PeeWee A Reds Win Abbotsford Tournament

Congratulations to the PeeWee A Reds on their Gold Medal performance at the Abbotsford PeeWee Tournament May 26-28.

After a close loss to the Abbotsford Redsox in their first game, the team rallied to win their next 2 games in order to give them a chance to play on Sunday. The Reds worked hard to beat the Abbotsford Yankees and then beat an undefeated Chilliwack Giants in order to earn their way to the final. The final on Sunday afternoon was a rematch against the Abbotsford Redsox. The Reds started the final with a great inning on offense but allowed the Redsox to claw their way back over the next few innings. In the 6th inning the Reds put the game away when their bats came alive again to close out the game.

A deep pitching roster and a true 'team effort' by all players were the keys to success.
